The excellent branch that supported it all rotted and broke off below the ground.

Most of my days lately have been filled with working in the studio on wire trees and glass cabochons to put them on. I’ve got a gallery meeting at 6:00 tonight, (looking forward to our little threesome group of me, Susan and Debra going for sushi afterwards, giggling, laughing and sharing our news of late) then tomorrow night is opening night ( Read more... )

After two beautiful warm days, we are getting another cold snap. Temps have dropped 15 degrees so far since I got up this morning and not much sun today, but I’m not complaining. I’m sure I’ll be switching from shorts back into long pants before the day is over and the blankets will feel good tonight ( Read more... )

Well, the tree is down and gone. :(

I went out early this morning and took a few pictures of the star tree reflections in the birdbath. The sun was filtering through the Ficus Tree . . . for the last time.

I hadn’t been up very long this morning. Everything was quite here. The sun had been shining for a little while, when all of a sudden the house got dark and I could hear thunder rumble in the distance.
